I developed my necklace idea after seeing African Beaded necklaces. I thought that I could create something that was very soft and easily wearable and the result is here. People have come to me to tell me how they are approached by strangers asking "where did you get that necklace?" The peart cotton has a sheen that is reminiscent of beads which adds to the desired effect.  The wrappings are mostly done in embroidery floss. There are no metal parts. It just slips over the head
